My objective is simple really: to capture the most beautiful and meaningful images of your wedding--beyond even what you’ve imagined. I find this beauty in a variety of ways and places, using a natural and unobtrusive approach. It’s all about the power of life’s biggest moments--captured in a series of unique images that will keep those moments alive for a lifetime.

To do this, I work in a variety of styles, which we call Documentary Coverage. I shoot mostly in a true photojournalistic style, looking for the details, the emotions, and the style that will capture the essence of the wedding you’ve worked so hard to plan. When doing portraits and groups, we work quickly and efficiently, all the while taking care to keep the process fun and comfortable for all involved. We’ll talk in detail with you, to make sure that we know how you want your wedding day to go. We know that more important than seeing the day as our photo shoot, is seeing it as your wedding day…and doing everything to ensure that it’s perfect for you.

I have worked hard for years at staying ahead of every big curve in photography. Our studio was among the first to employ a computerized design system for our clients’ albums; we started to include unlimited coverage of our wedding days long before it was common; and we’ve never, ever counted photos in order to hit a preset limit. We’ve done all these things and more because of a basic philosophy of providing the very best service we can, knowing that there will never be a second chance to get it right. Further, we understand that most of our clients have little experience in hiring a photographer, so it is, in fact, our responsibility to know all the things that you may only know the day after the wedding!

Tom has been photographing weddings at the most beautiful venues in upstate New York and western New England for over 15 years. In addition, he was for many years a commercial photographer at WNYT/NewsChannel 13, the NBC TV affiliate in Albany. With his wife Noëlle, Tom has been a leader in the field of contemporary wedding photography, designing his approach and services with his client’s perspective always in mind, and using that point of view as the guide to creating the most beautiful images at every event he covers.
